No Charges Filed in Britney Spears’ Incident Involving NBA Rookie Victor Wembanyama

The Brittany Spears saga last week was all fake news and a waste of time as Las Vegas police have announced that no charges will be filed following an investigation into the altercation between pop star Britney Spears, San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama, and a member of Wembanyama’s security team.

According to Spears, she was struck by a security guard as she attempted to approach Wembanyama, while Wembanyama claimed that he was grabbed from behind by an unidentified person, later revealed to be Spears. However, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has concluded that Spears inadvertently hit herself in the face when her hand was pushed off Wembanyama by someone else.

After reviewing surveillance footage, the police determined that the security guard did not intentionally or unlawfully use force against Spears. As a result, no arrests were made, and no citations were issued. Spears had filed a police report alleging battery.

Both Spears and the security guard for the Spurs provided statements acknowledging that pushing someone’s hand off their shoulder is a standard response. The security guard spoke with Spears, identified himself, and offered an apology, which Spears accepted.
